About Me

Memories are something that can't be taken away. I have been creating memories for the past ten years and have loved every minute. I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Purdue University and am Internationally Certified as a Wedding and Event Coordinator from The New York Institute of Design.

I was born and raised in Hawaii and assisted in events at our church growing up. That is when my love for planning events all started. I've been in the event industry for 17 years now. Most people get overwhelmed by planning an event, but I get excited and embrace the challenge. In every event that I do their is that one moment that gives you "that feeling" of complete love and success. I'll keep creating memories as long as those moments keep happening.

My favorite pastimes include spending time with my wonderful husband, beautiful daughter, lively son and traveling. We now live in "Rocket City" aka Huntsville, Alabama and will travel through-out the Tennessee Valley for your next event. Being creative and designing events is a great passion of mine and I'd love to share that with you!

Events by Kamerra was established with the mission of creating a unique event especially inspired and designed to fulfill your dreams in every detail. Regardless of your event style or budget I promise to deliver a memory to be cherished forever.

My Mission

Love Letters

Working with Kamerra as my wedding coordinator was the best decision I made during the wedding planning process! She is creative, flexible, personable, communicative, and calm. I hired her for full coordination, and not only did she help me brainstorm and think through elements I had not thought of yet, she also made the things I had envisioned become a reality. Kamerra handled communication between vendors, timelines, and of course, day-of details and coordination on the wedding day. If that weren't enough, Kamerra ALSO acted as my florist, creating all the bouquets of the day as well as the head table garland and the ceremony decor. Did I mention she is affordable and reliable?! When you work with Kamerra, not only do you have peace of mind and 90% less stress, you can also save a lot of money by hiring her to do your floral arrangements. I would highly recommend Kamerra to anyone looking for assistance in planning their special day!

Kamerra did a great job with the planning and decorating of my daughter's bridal shower. She is full of great ideas and her decorating skills are excellent! She pays attention to detail and really listens to our thoughts, likes and dislikes, and incorporates all of that into the planning. She made the bridal shower so memorable!  We couldn't have done it without her! We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication, Kamerra!  Thank you for making my daughter's bridal shower an event we will never forget!  It was absolutely beautiful!

We asked Kamerra to help us plan our son's First Birthday Lu'au for our expected 450 guests; and without any hesitations she eagerly accepted and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better coordinator! From start to finish, Kamerra has been with us every step of the way from decoration shopping to booking the venue and following up with vendors. I felt as though I literally showed up with a pen to sign paperwork and a credit card to pay! Kamerra took care of overlooking contracts for us and negotiating prices to match my budget which made my job easy! Her charisma, along with her acute business sense is unmatched. And even when I've had my melt down moments prior to and on the day of the event, Kamerra always remained calm and positive. We're currently looking for excuses to hire her again! Mahalo Kamerra!
